Pro tools vs cubase 88/17/2023 Samplitude was always the "Mastering DAW" that also does everything else. Cubase was always the "Midi DAW, that also records audio. But Cubase and Samplitude have been around for just as long. Tools has always been known as the Industry Standard " Tracking and Mixing DAW. And don't even get the Reaper heads started about the Legendary Flexibilty of Their DAW. Yet Most DAWs do most of the same things only differently. So, when I went to set up a Reverb, Pro Tools naturally guided me to "Send" my audio to be affected by the Reverb, with a separate fader.
